I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Ramp
Interview
The recruiter was awesome. They were friendly, explained things well, and made me feel good about the company. They were a big reason why I was excited about the job.
Hiring Manager Interview:
Talking to the hiring manager was a whole different story. He didn't seem interested in what I had to say at all. It felt like they just wanted to get the interview over with as quickly as possible.
One thing that bothered me was when the hiring manager casually mentioned that working overtime is normal at Ramp. That made me worry about work-life balance.
The hiring manager didn't seem to care about my questions or concerns. It felt like they were just ticking boxes and didn't really value me as a candidate.
Overall, the interview experience at Ramp left me feeling disappointed. The recruiter was great, but the hiring manager's attitude was a real letdown. If Ramp wants to attract top talent, they need to work on how they treat candidates during the interview process.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ramp (New York, NY)
Interview
straight forward, screening video, hiring manager, case study, and finally the sales director. Communication throughout the process is good however the experience was not the best. Hiring manager seemed like it was the last place on earth she wanted to be as well as seemed like I was a burden when asking her questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp (New York, NY) in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview process was extremely smooth and well-coordinated. The entire process consisted of four rounds and took approximately 2-3 weeks. I enjoyed meeting several members of the Ramp team. Everyone I met with was so nice and reflected the amazing culture that exists at Ramp!
