I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp in Jul 2025
Interview
It was a really smooth process! The recruiter that reached out to me was super friendly, professional, and easy to work with (shoutout Mia!). I had a total of 3-4 interviews with a few different individuals and teams. The questions were pretty standard, all in all this was the best job interview process I've experienced in months.

Question 1
They asked me to describe a time when I had to jump into an ambiguous work situation. What was my thought process, and what steps did I take to get comfortable with the situation.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ramp (New York, NY)
Interview
I applied as a referral, was then sent a request to do a pre interview where you are given 3 questions and you have to record a video response 1 minute later with only one redo (that starts within 5 seconds of hitting redo). Very stressful and impersonal. Then I had 2 interviews with managers. They were great but asked super specific questions. I also did a business case where I answered 3 fake customer complaints, that was timed with only one hour to complete. Ultimately didn’t get the job as the hiring manager (who I never met) said I wasn’t the right fit. This process took over a month..

Question 1
I can’t remember the questions as it was a while ago but there were classic “Why Ramp?” “Why you?” Questions plus highly specific scenarios to read your customer service acumen.
Applied online, recorded a short video answering why Ramp and why position, completed a written assessment on Codesignal, one on one hiring manger interview. The entire process last more than 1 month.
