I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Apr 2015
Interview
Phone screening, followed by a hiring event within a couple of weeks if the process continues. The hiring event took about 2 days total; it consisted of introduction to the company, networking event, and the actual interview. The interviews were held in cubicles set up in the ball room, so mutiples interviews could be held at the same time. Mostly behavioral questions were asked, nothing technical. Most comfortable engineering interview I've had. The best thing about the hiring event is that they tell you the same day of the interview if you have an offer.

Interview

During the interview I answered their questions, they answered my questions. Then I asked them if there would be a follow up interview or when they plan to make a decision. They said they will contact me in about 2 weeks. I followed up in two weeks since I hadn't heard back and they informed me that it will take a little longer because of the holiday. Afterwards they emailed me back and informed me that HR will be calling me with an offer,
