Interview
Telephone with VP operations and HR Director. Since I was working abroad the entire hiring process was done via multiple telephone calls. I was recommended by another Raytheon employee who apparently attested to my capabilities.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Washington, DC) in Mar 2011
Interview
Easy, they asked basic interview questions. Nothing out of the ordinary. They split up the process over two days. One of the interviews was in Virginia and the other was in Washington D.C. We were asked questions about our background and our strengths and weaknesses
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Denver, CO) in Aug 2015
Interview
Attended open house where Raytheon was interviewing for System and Software engineers. The attendance was a mixture of both senior and entry level applicants. The applicants were held in a waiting area and then called out individually to meet with the subject SME. The interview took anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, and the wait for being called took 60 to 90 minutes.

Met with lead software engineer. Discussed C++, UML, SW methodologies. They seemed to have too many system engineers applying for the positions, so I only interviewed on the software side.
