I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RH (Scottsdale, AZ) in Oct 2012
Interview
Consisted of two to three interviews, the most interesting being a group interview which had 2 managers and about 8 applicants. This was for seasonal holiday employment and not everyone was applying for the same position. Although about 4 or 5 people there aimed for the Design Assistant job. It was a very qualified group of applicants. This was clearly set up to see how everyone behaved socially, and to see what each personality was like. A few of the same questions were asked to everyone, but most questions required people to speak up on their own. Some people dominated the conversation; most people responded just enough; and some people said absolutely nothing.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RH
Interview
Really laid back. I say down with a couple managers that were very inviting and wanted to learn more about me. I made sure to include some things about the company's values and goals.

Question 1
How would you handle a situation where you didn't get along with a co-worker or employee?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at RH (New Orleans, LA)
Interview
After over 6 interviews, the job title kept changing. Once we got into a slightly serious compensation conversation, the communication ended even though my salary expectations were clearly outlined on the application I filled out at the first interview. People were nice, but I wish they hadn't wasted such a colossal amount of my time. At some point I felt like they were just milking me for ideas.
