I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RH (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2016
Interview
Applied via LinkedIn and was contacted the following week. Went to the first interview - group interview with two other candidates. Answered four basic questions. We were all told that there would be a total of three interviews for candidates moving forward in the process. Was called back for the second interview the next week with one of the store's assistant managers. Then I didn't hear back for almost two weeks before the HR person finally reached out again to ask if I was still interested in the position. Set up my last interview with the current store manager "Gallery Leader" who said that they would make a final decision by the end of the next week. Didn't hear back so I followed up via email and they had decided they were not moving forward with my application.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RH (New York, NY) in Jan 2016
Interview
I had 4 interviews with multiple people & thought they all went well. The company really looks for values in their employees vs. a company like pottery barn who hires on the 1st meeting.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RH (Berkeley, CA) in Jun 2012
Interview
First Interview, interviewed by two people. They asked the common interview questions. Best and worst quality, give an example of a challenging situation and how you handled it, etc. But when I was honest about something I did not know (but could learn with ease), the director was very rude and hurtful, disregarded me immediately by saying that they will find another applicant that does know it. I've seen the job listed a few times since then, so there seems to be a high turn around for it.
