I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RH (Charlotte, NC) in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied online, and also called the store to speak to the hiring manager which I think they appreciated. I got an email to set up a phone interview a few days later.
it was very nice, welcoming, to the point. Not very challenging if you are confident in the role you applied for. I was not interested in the position they were offering and to be honest found it somewhat rude. They mentioned they posted that to get better resumees.

Question 1
basic sales questions. The position they posted online had nothing to do with what they were actually looking for which was disappointing
I was contacted by HR/Talent Acquisition for the initial phone screen. The call went VERY well and the contact said she would be back in touch in a few days after discussing my background with the team. She never got back in touch with me even after I contacted her with a nice follow-up message reinstating my interest.
Unfortunately this is what a lot of interviewers know - they act interested and then disappear. It's completely unprofessional to do this to a candidate. If someone takes time out of their day to discuss a position - at least tell them they won't be moving forward in the process.
This leaves a negative impression of a Company I really liked and was excited about.
