Interview
Lengthy interview process. At first, this idea appealed to me as it told me they are selective. After "passing" initial phone and first in person round, I was told I would meet for the next phase. Communication dropped. I was ghosted. When followed up with email, received no response. Ghosted all around.

Interview
I had an initial phone interview that went well. Typical questions and fairly informal. I was able to ask questions as well. We discussed RH’s core values for their company.
Next I had an in person interview, which again, was lovely and as would be expected. Typical questions, I was able to show my portfolio and talk about my experience as well as ask the interviewer questions. Again, we discussed RH’s core values.
I was then brought in for a third interview with two people who would be my colleges if hired. One of the people was quite late (20-ish minutes), making it a bit awkward as I had to basically start the interview over when they arrived and it felt very unprofessional.
Both of the people were very informal, and spent quite a bit of time chit chatting and making comments to each other, laughing, making jokes and one even making comments about her size. It was incredibly uncomfortable for me.
They didn’t know what position I was interviewing for. And overall, it was the most unprofessional interview I’ve ever had and it was very uncomfortable for me for several reasons.
And then they turned and critiqued me and indicated that I was not professional enough for this job in an unkind manner after they had spent the entire interview being incredibly informal and casual.
I left the interview knowing that I wouldn’t accept a job even if they offered me one. It felt like the biggest mean-girl club ever and I did not want to be a part of that in any way shape or form.
Obviously, other offices and co-workers could be different. But these specific women did not exhibit RH’s core values or even basic kindness and professionalism.
