I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at RH (New York, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
Very long interview process...can take 3 months but can lead to a very good opportunity.
RH value people and look for creative people.
Everyone is very nice.
They give out project, so just be prepare.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at RH (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2012
Interview
The first interview was with a group of candidates and two interviewers. It was fairly relaxed, but not all candidates were necessarily interviewing for the same position, which was a little odd. The job listing was quite vague. They called shortly after to ask me to come back in. The second interview was one-on-one and was friendly, but lengthy. I was asked back another time to see how well I interacted on the sales floor. It was a good experience overall, but seemed a bit involved for the level of position.
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at RH (Birmingham, AL) in Jul 2011
Interview
I was a Walk-In. I requested application and filled out on a sofa in the store. I asked to speak with a manager when I turned it in, and we spoke for 10 minutes and set up an interview for the following day.
I came in the next afternoon, interviewed for an hour with the Store Manager at one of the dining tables in the store, and then they said they'd be in contact.
I received a phone call two days later with a job offer.
I started the following morning, was promoted to Visual Point within 2 weeks, and Visual Manager 2 months later with final salary at $16/hr.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The Usual. What are strengths, weaknesses, etc. They had me read the core values, pick one that pertained most to me, and then explain a situation where I implemented that value.
