The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2009
Interview
Spent first 5-10 minutes talking about the job, and asking if it seemed like something I would find interesting. Then asked some problems related to C programming and basic signal processing, as well as some operating systems concepts. Asked about familiarity with various communications protocols and standards. Very friendly on the phone. Little interest in my research background.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2009
Interview
Qualcomm came to campus in fall for wireless week to demo products, met recruiter and he asked for my resume, 2 phone nterviews (HR and hiring), then offer came few weeks later. Haven't started working yet, but offer seems really sweet for interns. All this process was wrapped by the new year.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Mar 2010
Interview
It was pretty straight forward i had only a telephonic interview, It was mostly on my resume and the projects i worked on. Then i was some question on Specific algorithm. Since the job was in Computer vision, I was asked question on that.
The interviewer was very happy and he even recommened for the second onsite round. Next day though i get the call from HR saying due to some kind of financial problem/ decision they have stopped the hiring in Corp R&D... haven heard anything since then...
