Interview
I applied a phone interview from qualcom for an inter position a few weeks before summer I starts. One of the staff of qualcom called me and asked a few general personal questions and then told me that another engineer would have a phone interview with me tomorrow. The next day, he called me and asked me some technical questions (about 5 of them). It was good, I think. And a few days later I was told by the first staff that there needs to be another interview and also the intern need to be done during the fall semester. Unfortunately, our school policy and my research work at my school cannot co-op with this schedule so I have to decline the next interview and opportunities for this internship. Overall, people from qualcom are friendly and knowledgeable. I would be glad to work with them.

Interview
Interview was easy. Consisted of 1:1 interviewing and a 20-minute panel interview. There was also a soft-ball phone interview initially. The questions were generally easy, and not much effort is made to determine the extent of your technical ability. You are asked to ask questions, but the answers given seem simplified and rehearsed.
