      Flight Attendant Interview

      Jan 24, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at PSA Airlines in Jan 2016

      Interview

I found the job opening through Indeed.com and applied. I received a follow up email inviting me to the Open House held in Norfork, VA. I just booked a room at the hotel for the night prior because I had read that it is a lengthy process (in which it was). The presentation began at 0830. The hiring panel all come to the front of the room and introduce themselves, they have a PowerPoint presentation that they go through and explain the benefits, hardships, pay, the lifestyle, and how the day will look for the whole interview process. It seems very negative, but realistically speaking you need to know what your getting yourself into and they did just that. After the presentation they gave us some time to ask some general questions. After the Q and A session they let us go for a 15 minute break and anyone who chose to not continue on were allowed to leave. After the break they file you back into the conference room and explain that during this portion of the interview the hiring panel sits at a table in front of the room and they will ask you to step to the front you will be asked one question and you have been given a card with a flight announcement to read. It was extremely intimidating, there were 75 people in the room. Research some top flight attendant interview questions, it will help. After this session they give you a 45 min. break while they compare notes and decide who makes the cut. When you come back they either call your number or dont. The numbers they called they put into one room and the rest went to the other. They let the other group go, only 23 of us were selected to stay for the remaining round. They gather your documents (bring your ID, SS card, passport, and resume) you then meet individually with one of the FAs to interview. After 3 questions I was moved down to meet with the HR recruiter to answer basic questions about how you would adapt to this new position. I was told I would get an email within 2 weeks, 4 days later I got the offer email !
