Opendoor interview questions

Reached out by Opendoor Recruiter via recruiting platform. 2 phone screens with engineers over the phone on CoderPad. Engineer's were active during the call and always willing to answer or help you when needed.

My phone screen was with a recruiting specialist. It lasted about 30 minutes. I was not asked about my background and the only questions was about KPIs for my current position. They said they would get back to me early the next week. I didn't hear from them for two weeks despite follow up emails. This is somewhat normal, and I assumed they moved in another direction. They emailed me 3 weeks later on Sunday night asking for a 45 minute interview the following night. I accepted, adjusted my schedule and spent time prepping for the interview. They called 15 minutes late for a minute phone call telling me they are moving in another direction. I understand not being a fit, but making senior candidates prep for last minute interviews without planning to interview them is disrespectful. I think this is a bad sign for a young company, but hopefully they get it fixed moving forward.
