I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Old Navy
Interview
Spoke with an operations manager on the phone, then got called for an in-store interview with an assistant manager, then finally the general manager. Took about 3 weeks. Interviews were pretty chill. The managers are nice and understanding and friendly, so don't be nervous.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy in Mar 2012
Interview
I initially applied for the position about a month before I received a call for an offer to interview. When they called I had actually forgotten that I had applied for the job. The initial phone call consisted of a few basic questions about availability, age, and when I'd like to schedule the interview. When I went to interview it felt like a standard interview. I was asked questions about school, my future ambitions, what sort of activities I was involved in, etc. It wasn't really too bad in my opinion.

Interview
I filled out an application online and was called within a week. I drove there and met the hiring manager. They were very hectic and ran around like crazy. The customers are mostly rude and spoiled, they couldn't guarantee me any more than 20 hours, not decent pay, you don't get ANY benefits if you are not a manager, and to top it off you have to badger customers about their card and add more items to the sales.
Another thing I hated was that I applied for inventory and they kept trying to push me into sales. I made it VERY clear I did not apply, nor want to be sales.... they kept talking about sales anyway. I noticed a lot of teens and early twenty-somethings there, so if you are just starting out it would be nice.

So are you comfortable with selling cards? Can you show me how you would do it?
