I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Old Navy (Staten Island, NY) in Oct 2011
Interview
Easy interview process. If you can talk then you're a shoe in. I had no experience in retail and still received the position. the interview process is either with the manager or assistant manager. they keep the conversation flowing, nothing too serious.

Question 1
there was nothing too difficult. One question would be why you, and another is why this company
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy in Jan 2014
Interview
Initial phone screen followed by a four hour interview. There was a project that took about 12 hours to complete before the interview. The interview process was long but completely unnecessary. For a program that contains a 90 day training period, some of the questions were pretty specific towards inventory management. The interviewers were friendly and asked many of the same questions. Be prepared for a long day and a case study that wasn't really a case study. Honestly, people acted like they loved their job about inventory management; but in reality, the processes they discussed seemed quite boring and mundane.

Question 1
Be prepared for a 45 minute group discussion with other interviewers about the take home project.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Old Navy in Nov 2013
Interview
Applied online, received call for an interview the next day, had a group interview that weekend. The interview was not difficult at all. Play some games to make sure you can work as a team. Put an outfit together. Answer simple questions about the company and your work experience. Got a call a few hours after the interview that I got the job. They look for a good personality, but also a person who is willing to work hard. I got a call fast because I was referred by an employee and it was the seasonal time. If you happen to apply during the seasonal period and get hired there is always the chance that they will keep you...as long as you work hard and prove to them that you want to be there. In my group interview there were about 8 people and 3 of us were kept after seasonal.
