Interview
I went to a job fair for a new outlet mall opening and there i had a brief interview with old navy. I came pretty late so they told me all the group interviews for that day had been filled but asked me to come 2 days later to an existing old navy in a mall in our city. There were 8 of us at the group interview and at first the new store manager that was conducting the interview asked us to pair up and get to know each other. Then we had to present our partners and what we learned about them to the group. After that we had to draw something/anything on a piece of paper and do a storytelling activity. Somebody started the story using their drawing and the next person had to continue that story by including their drawing. After that we played hunter bear ninja which is like rock paper scissors but full body and with sounds. Then the store manager asked us each a question, most of them were about problem solving. About an 1 hour later I checked my junk folder in my email and I had gotten a job offer! Overall it was a super great experience and so much less stressful than I thought it would be because it was my first job interview ever!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Old Navy (Schererville, IN) in May 2013

Interview
I saw that they were hiring in September for seasonal sales associate positions so I came in and filled out a paper application. I was due to graduate the next May and just needed a job that would compliment my full time school schedule. They called me in for a group interview (mostly teenagers) and told us what the position required and had us start folding clothes, which I assume was just to see if we were able to handle such a simple task. After about 90 minutes of this (I worked in two sections), they started sending some people home and bringing some to the back. I was invited back and was told what the pay was and for how long they needed the position filled. Everything was pretty straight forward and easy.
