I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Old Navy (Gilbert, AZ) in Aug 2013
Interview
when I was interviewed it was as a group, there was maybe 13 of us and the hiring supervisor along with a current sales associate. They asked us typical interview questions along with a few getting to know you questions, after this they gave us a customer scenario where they were looking for a outfit to wear on the beach and they were going to be exercising So we all had to go out and pick out an outfit to offer our "customer" and we had to sell it in front of the whole group. Then a few days later they called for a second interview, this one was one on one with the general manager of the store, and pretty much asked the same questions and then a few about your schedule and hours you could work.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Old Navy (Brooklyn, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
Good interview. Comfortable Atmosphere. Almost didn't "feel" like the traditional interview. Great learning about the hiring manager's career aspirations within old navy. It was a group interview, the hiring manager asked questions and a group of 10-15 people either waited in a row answering or volunteered the answer. It was the type of interview that was really easy to sit back & not answer any questions so in order to be noticed, one would have to speak up.
