Interview
The whole process only took a week. Applied online and got a call the next day for a mini interview over the phone. The manager asked why would i want to work there and he asked about a time I surprised someone and what was their reaction. Then he told me to come in two days later for a group interview. On the day of the interview there was about 15 of us. the manger spoke to us in front of the store and asked what we did we know about the company,he then proceeded to tell us about the company and himself. He broke us up into small groups and we were supposed to find one thing that we all have in common then share that info with the group. After that was done, he brought us to the break room and passed around a roll of toilet paper. He told us to take as much as we want. A second manager came in to start the game. For every sheet of toilet paper we had to give one fact about ourselves. The last game we played, we were broken up into groups again and we had to find certain items in the store, come back and explain why did they have us choose those items. This was to see how well you worked in groups. The manager called me the next day and told me to come in on monday to fill out my paperwork and begin training. Pretty much everybody got the job. Those who didn't get them job were the people who barely spoke or answered every question last.

Interview
I received a call to go in. Went in and had 1 interview before hearing back from them a few days later and accepting the job. To help my chances I went in after applying online and approached the GM to ensure a chance at the position. After that I was called to come in, and I think it played a large role in getting a shot at it.

Group style interview with interactive questions and exercises that involved tasks around the store and group interaction/sharing. Heavy focus on candidate personal traits and activities, in a pleasant setting with several managers.
