I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy (Aiken, SC) in Aug 2011
Interview
Sat down with hiring manager in the front of the store and she asked me several typical interview questions. She then asked me to do a short role playing exersize where she pretended to be a customer in the store shopping for an outfit while I helped her. We then walked around the store and we spoke with employees on the floor and they told me about working in different parts of the store. After that I had a second interview with the store manager and she asked me some questions and I was on my way. I received a call back for orientation/training about 2 weeks later.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to work as a team?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Old Navy (New York, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
Applied in March, landed a group interview in the middle of May. Kind of annoying how they took a whole 2 months just to get back to me when I've been calling for decades.
If they like you you'd get hired on the spot, I don't think they're known for doing several interviews but if so good luck.
Orientation was a week later, and depending on the manager they'll have you start working right away
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Old Navy (Johnson City, TN) in Mar 2014
Interview
There were three in person interviews. The first was with two local store managers in the store. The second was with the area manager at the same location. The third was with the market leader via phone.
