I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Redondo Beach, CA) in Feb 2021
Interview
First a phone call with the recruiter, the a phone call with the manager. Sometimes ends with a panel interview. Helps really understand the work/support to be expected. I've had harder interviews, nothing to be afraid of.
Behavioral Interview. They were very kind and there was a panel of about 4 people. The interview was about thirty minutes and they were very willing to answer any of my questions.
I applied through LinkedIn and received an email letting me know I got the interview. The interview was a panel style, phone interview with roughly 5 team members. All behavioral questions. The hiring manager reached out a few days later to let me know they were probably going to extend an offer after interviewing one more candidate. Sent me benefits and really made me believe I was going to receive an offer. I was then told I would know for sure following the weekend. Roughly a week later I was informed that I was not selected. Overall, nice interviewers but I was really disappointed that they called me and led me on. I would rather NG just wait until they know for sure before reaching out.
