I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2014
Interview
Went quick and direct to point about the job. Felt comfortable with environment and direct questions. At times I was leading the interview by asking direct questions. After leaving I felt confident. Later that day 3 hours, I received the phone call of acceptance.

Question 1
What was your biggest struggle with network security and what was your fix action.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Oklahoma City, OK) in Feb 2016
Interview
Casual and friendly. Not a skills demonstration as I had expected it to be. Sat down for about 40 minutes with the immediate team supervisor, and a higher-level manager. The manager said he didn't like skills demonstrations, and found that just getting to know someone worked better for him. They talked about what they did, what the job would likely entail, and asked about my background.

Question 1
In my previous job, WHO had asked me to build the systems I had put together? What kind of 'task form' had they used to task me? What documentation was in place to authorize me to innovate and be creative?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Gainesville, FL)
Interview
they held a "career fair" in Gainesville, FL. Turns out that this was actually standing in line to be interviewed on-the-spot. Only then did they tell me that they weren't hiring people there but they were recruiting for positions in St. Louis. I have no interest whatsoever in moving to St Louis. The online ad said nothing about this and just described it as a job fair.
Seriously? I wasted my time for that? I walked out the door on that one.
