I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Carpinteria, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Very casual. Asked me about my project experience and I elaborated and tried to tie in to this position and added some other stuff about my background. They said I did a good job
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (El Segundo, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Overall, it was a great interview experience. I was invited to their El Segundo campus where I would introduce myself to my peers, managers, and our group's recruiter. We started out listening to a recently hired PDP who would talk about his experience of the program and life working at Northrop Grumman. This lasted till about noon, and lunch was catered! After lunch, we began our interviews in a rotational format. There were about 10 managers, each with a different role in IT. Our interview group rotated with each manager, and each interview lasts about 15-20 minutes. All of the mangers were easy to talk to, and once a couple rotations went by, the process began to be effortless. The interview took about half a day, but it was a great experience and was catered to new hires!
Only gripe was how long it took to hear back from them. They told me I would get an answer in about a week. Called every week for about 3 months...but I got the offer!
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Pomona, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Contacted recruiters through Northrop Grumman Student club. Overall, this wasn't a challenging interview although, I believe the difficulty depends greatly on the Interviewer. There was another Northrop employee who was bragging about how many students he made cry during his interviews. I heard his record is three in one day!
