I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen in Sep 2015
Interview
I had one formal interview on campus and two phone conversations after that. I was interviewed by two current employees, one senior employee and one who had just finished the rotational program. They asked me several behavioral questions that were fairly common and easy to answer. Then there was a portion of the interview that was almost like a case study - the three of us worked as a team to hash out a plan to solving a problem. That part was very unexpected, but kind of fun. The two phone conversations were mostly just me asking them questions about the company, but they asked me a few questions about myself and my experience.

Interview
Behavioral interview, the interviewer was very friendly and did a lot of talking in the beginning to make you feel comfortable. Questions were curious about your technical background and projects, but did not delve into specifics like data structures/algorithms used.
