I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NiCE in Mar 2022
Interview
Had a phone interview which lasted about an hour. It went well and the hiring manager said he would like to setup a 2nd interview with senior management and get back with me on when the interview was. A few days went by and I heard nothing. I finally followed up with HR wanting to see when he would like to setup the interview for. I then received a letter a canned letter from them thanking me for my time. I followed up again with HR wanting to know if I received the email in error. It turns out I didn’t, the Manager ‘changed his mind and wants to go in a different direction’. Completely unprofessional and gives them a bad name. I literally waited for the hiring manager to get back with me for 5 days.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NiCE (Denver, CO) in Nov 2020
Interview
The interview process was longer than most, but I found it to be very thorough and with honest feedback throughout. The onboarding process was great- even without in-person training. I was interviewed by 6 people.
I applied online. I interviewed at NiCE in Feb 2021
Interview
Was contacted initially by a recruiter who took time to understand my background. At that time, he said my skills were transferable, even though I hadn’t sold in the exact industry, before. He set me up with a call with the hiring manager, who was very conversational and friendly, but conducting the interview while in line at Starbucks. He asked to schedule a second call, which took some time to get on the calendar, but again was pleasant and went well. Recruiter called the following day to set up another call with SVP of Sales, and confirmed the schedule. The very next day I received an email from the recruiter canceling my interview, with a note saying they had an internal candidate. Very strange sequence of events.
