I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
A week after I applied online i got an email asking what time/date would be best for a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty easy, she was very nice and informative. Then she sent a DDI nursing battery exam. A week after that someone else from the Talent Acquisition Team emailed me to give me info on my in-person interview’s. First I met with HR, then 2 unit managers. They wanted staff RN’s to come in and ask me questions, but they were busy on the unit. Everyone was really nice & professional. A week and a day later (but who’s counting) i got a call from HR with an offer!

Question 1
Why NYP, why nursing? Why the unit I applied for? Tell me about a time you came together as a team? Where do you see yourself in 5 yrs? What would your previous manager say about you?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
Two step interview process with HR and hiring manager. Very nice offices, but can be confusing for your first visit there. I made it up to the reference check and was left uninformed for months if I was hired or not. Really bad communication by HR in terms of letting you know an update. Took them 4 months to tell me I was not selected. Bad experience

Interview
It was difficult in terms of making contact with the human resources personnel. There was a lot of confusion from the beginning with making appointments for the phone interview and then for the in person interviews.
