I applied in-person. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
Two step interview process with HR and hiring manager. Very nice offices, but can be confusing for your first visit there. I made it up to the reference check and was left uninformed for months if I was hired or not. Really bad communication by HR in terms of letting you know an update. Took them 4 months to tell me I was not selected. Bad experience
I applied online. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Oct 2016
Interview
I was contacted via email by a recruiter to schedule a phone interview. I emailed back stating that I was available on the day she selected and that I looked forward to hearing from her. The day came and went - no call. The next day I emailed and called leaving a voicemail. I never heard back. I contacted the main talent acquisition dept and was told that she claimed my phone number was not working. Completely untrue. I receive phone calls everyday with no problem. I never received a call from her. He said that he would let her know and that there should be no problem with me rescheduling. I never heard back. It was an extremely unprofessional and time wasting experience.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in Mar 2013
Interview
The hiring and interview process was very long. I had the interview in March and was not hired until July. Human resources or Talent Acquisition has to do a better job in speeding up the process.
