Several rounds of interviews and screenings before making it to the unit for an interview in-person. I got the sense they were interviewing a high volume of applicants in one day.
I applied online. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in May 2021
Interview
I previously had an interview with the Talent Acquisition Representative, so the interview was just with the nurse manager. It lasted about 40 minutes in which he asked about my experience, a time in which I went above and beyond for a patient, a time in which I had a difficult patient and how I handled it. He also gave me the pros and cons of the unit. In the end, I asked if there was anything I could clarify for him to which he said if I was okay with everything he stated about his unit, he had none others. I truly thought I had the position and was awaiting an offer. I then was put through to the references stage, but unfortunately did not get the position.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
I applied online, was contacted about a week later to complete a self-guided video interview. I then received a short phone interview with a recruiter, who sent my info to the heads of the department. I had a zoom interview with the head PA, followed by a zoom interview with the chief physician of the department. Finally, I went in person to tour the facility.
