There was a 3 step interview process. First there was an introductory interview with personality/compatibility quiz. Then the second interview went over a day/month/year in the life of an agent that ended with being given some homework which included a market survey questionnaire. Finally, the third interview talk about career path and compensation which ended in an offer

The first interview is a fairly quick focused on getting to know NY Life and expectations as well as filling out paperwork. Second Interview focused on the explanation of the business plan and products that NY Life has to offer.

Interview
It was about probability of a matching attributes/character/personality management think would produce high survival/success rate. You take a self-assessment test in addition to in-person interview. Then, it usually follows with a tour of the facility to give a good glimpse of what it's like to work in the office and the staff there.
Overall, I thought it was a nice, no pressure interview process that could ease the right candidate into this position.

Do you possess the drive and determination when the going gets tough as there will be dry spells? Do you prize unlimited income potential over the comfort of a 9-5 job? Will you be coachable and do what the NYL formula recommends to make a successful run at it? These are generality of what were presented on the actual test and interview session with the manager.
