I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New York Life (Lakewood, OH) in Oct 2011
Interview
I had my interview on a Friday, I arrived 15 minutes early to the interview and then had to wait an extra 15 minutes until they were ready for me. It was really weird how the upstairs was set up, and if your not a resourceful person, you can get confused just finding where you are suppose to go. The interviewing process was extremely long it took me approximately 4 hours! I interviewed with the first person and I guess that I passed because then I waited in the room for 15 minutes and a 2nd person came in and interviewed me. Then a 3rd person came in and gave me a personality test, which took like an hour. Then they told me there were two positions they could use me for and they described them both to me and asked which I preferred. I thought it was really odd and they put a lot of pressure on me for the answer. I'm not sure I even fully understood the difference between the two positions and honestly I felt as though I was perfectly capable of doing both. I just stuck with the original position that I had come in to interview for.
