I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New York Life (Overland Park, KS) in Nov 2015
Interview
Walked in for Appt ,
Office was very nice, Receptionist was curtious ,
Migrated to the Board room for a 1 on 1 with a lead Partner / Sales Manager who was very curtious as well. Interview was very laid back yet professional, Perfect mix if you ask me !! They seem to have a really good culture here ,by the end of my first interview they actually showed me around while introducing me to current employees , then Partner asked if I would like to sit in on a training class and listen for a bit to see if I was still interested !! No pressure open Interview and very welcoming !!!
An AI bot was asking me questions, very unpersonalized. It would have been nice to at least speak to someone and have the opportunity to showcase my abilities. Do not Recommend!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (Huntsville, AL) in May 2024
Interview
There was an online assessment and a series of in office interviews. However there were lots of important information that was glossed over or not revealed, There are a lot of cost you most cover in the first year even though you are only commission, example; you have to pay to use an office if their building space. I did original except an offer, I later left due to the miss information presented during the interview process.
