I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New York Life in May 2009
Interview
I was interviewed by two people. The first person was very friendly and mainly just described the process and what I would be doing as an intern. Mainly about past experiences and situations on how I would work well with others. I had to take a personality test on the computer, which was pretty pointless. I was then interviewed by a manager who gave me situational questions, but i was never put on the spot. He made me feel comfortable and it was more of a conversation, rather than an interview. I enjoyed the culture of the office, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

I applied online. I interviewed at New York Life (Pasadena, CA) in Aug 2020
Interview
I had a positive interview experience with New York Life Insurance. The interview process consisted of a three-stage process. The first interview was mainly focused on my background and qualifications, the second interview was focused on my goals and interests and how well they aligned with that of the company, and the third interview involved a practical aspect.
