The process took 2 days. I interviewed at New York Life (New York, NY) in Sep 2010
Interview
The interview process was pretty easy. As a college graduate economics major they seemed impressed. Met with the sales Manager and took a test based on your ability to succeed in the business. Did well on that and met with another manager . I was offered the job 2 days later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would be my primary mode of prospecting. Also did I have a business plan . I did not and they said we would do that together.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New York Life (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2026
Interview
Did a phone interview, vague on offering to try and get you in the door for a F2F. Skeptical towards moving forward due to lack of upfront information and information found online for the fast track to management position.
Super easy interview process that focuses more on you asking questions rather than getting interviewed. If you want this job make sure you spend time asking questions about the company and learning more about the role. Also just realize.

Initial meeting is to understand the prospective hire and meet the recruiting team and other principals. Second meeting is with CEO to get a marketing study completed along with some company history.
