I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New York Life (New York, NY) in Jan 2016
Interview
Casual. Not very in depth. Shallow on purpose to let you think you will be able to earn unlimited amounts, which is doable, but only really happens for <10% of agents. Make you think it may be a tough couple of first months, but smooth sailing after that. Most likely will not get to the smooth sailing part
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New York Life (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2026
Interview
Did a phone interview, vague on offering to try and get you in the door for a F2F. Skeptical towards moving forward due to lack of upfront information and information found online for the fast track to management position.
Super easy interview process that focuses more on you asking questions rather than getting interviewed. If you want this job make sure you spend time asking questions about the company and learning more about the role. Also just realize.

Initial meeting is to understand the prospective hire and meet the recruiting team and other principals. Second meeting is with CEO to get a marketing study completed along with some company history.
