I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA
Interview
I had a total of 3 phone interviews. They were all conducted by potential bosses. I ended up being hired to join the first interviewer's team.
All the interviews started off with several personal questions (going over the resume and past experiences, what you're passionate about and what you're like as a person) before getting into the technical questions.
The technical questions were all asked in increasing levels of difficulty. So if you answered the initial question off the bat, they would change something about the question to make it harder until you can't answer it anymore (or if you do, well done!)
For the last interview, I had to email the answer to a technical question as complete code. The other interviews just required me to clearly explain the algorithm on the phone.
They did ask the question "Why do you want to work for Nvidia?". I recommend having a clear answer in your head before the interview, be up to date about their recent developments and be really confident and show your passion. Because it's a phone interview, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have those key points listed on a post-it or something in front of you. It'll help keep you on track on why you want to get this job!

Question 1
Given a function that accepts a node of a singly linked list as a parameter, how would you delete that node from the complete linked list using this function without any other information?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (San Jose, CA)
Interview
Did a phone interview with three different people over the course of two days. They asked very good questions relevant to the position. They did not ask any weird or misleading questions. Two days after the phone interview I was invited onsite to do an in-person interview with six different people. The vice president of the group was the only person who I felt was trying to trick me, and he was not very technical. Everyone else was proficient in their area and asked relevant and good questions (some of which I could not answer).

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
Had 3 technical rounds and 1 final phone round from managers manager (more about resume), Interviewers were very good and asked only questions relevant to the job.
The manager saw my profile on linkedin and asked me if i was available for an interview. Later on a recruiter contacted me and set up a interview. There were 3 face to face rounds of half hour each. 2 Days after the interview I was contacted by the recruiter again to schedule a phone interview with the managers manager and later on in the day I was Offered the position.
