I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA) in May 2025
Interview
Did 4 rounds of interviews. Basic coding & parallelism questions and some in-depth questions based on my resume. Interviewers were nice and questions were well-structured. Process was quite slow; the result of each round took more than a week.
I applied online. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interviewer firstly briefly introduced the role, followed by some floating-point arithmetic questions. Then comes some live-coding questions on hackerank, mainly about modern C++ and CUDA. The last part is QA.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (München, Bavaria) in Feb 2026
Interview
So, I had one 45-minute screening where we talked about my experience and went through a couple of practical questions related to it, followed by another 45-minute technical screening with coding. Overall, everything went really well. The interviewers were very friendly and approachable, and I left with a really positive impression. The HR team is excellent: they organize the process smoothly and send information about the next rounds very quickly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The issue was that the interview section was labeled ML Optimization, but I was given a couple of algorithmic coding questions - quite easy, but unexpectedly. I had prepared extensively for the deep neural network optimization round - brushing up torch quantization etc., which is why I was a bit thrown off and less focused when presented with a different type of task.
