NEXT Sales Associate interview questions

Applied online, received a call to come in store for an interview. The interview was very casual but standard with a few questions on experiences. I was told I'd get a call soon, never got a call so I rang up myself a week later. The manager said they would get back to me soon, again never received a call. I also know someone else who applied and had the exact same experience and was told by the manager that they were forgetting to call people. There were a lot of roles advertised online as it was a new store so I was very surprised and I wonder if anyone was actually able to get employed at all.

Application onlin, easy, judgmental test and video exercises, interview in group with presentation and case studies as well as dressing a mannequin and then 1 to 1 with the manager.
