I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NEXT in Jun 2018
Interview
Phone interview when they asked a few questions like why i want to work at next specifically, then got an invitation for an induction where they showed us around the store and how things are done, and immediately after face to face interview and then they offered the job on the spot
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at NEXT (Ellesmere Port, England) in Jan 2014
Interview
Applied online, received a 5 minute phone call a few days later where I was asked some basic questions. Passed this and therefore was invited to an interview - had to again answer some questions and then had to go out onto the shop floor. There was someone there supervising me (although she seemed to be talking to another worker mostly) and I was told to approach customers to ask if they needed help - I approached everyone that entered the store but was later told that I hadn't talked to enough people. I then had to help on the till - someone else was serving customers whilst I put their shopping into bags (I was later told that I did not make enough conversation with the customers as I was doing this).
