I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NEXT (Yate, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
There was a brief phone interview and then was asked to come into the store for a trial shift. It was a paired interview in the style of a practice shift. I had to man the changing rooms correctly, make sure clothes were hung in correct size order, welcome customers into the store and return items to their correct locations.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NEXT (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Jun 2018
Interview
I applied just before sales time and so they were quite desperate for new hires. They called me in to the warehouse (which isn't where I applied, I applied for an in-store position) and it was clear I already had the job they just wanted to check my right to work documents etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
if I'd be willing to take on shifts in both the warehouse and the store - primarily working at the warehouse

Interview
It was really quite informal. When I arrived, I was first taken to the back room and waited there a bit as I did arrive early. I was then asked a few questions about what I was doing at the moment and what my availability is like. I was asked to go onto the shop floor and talk to customers asking them if they required any help (many of the staff members told me before that I should really demonstrate this). NEXT really value customer service so you need to show that you can do this. I did this for an hour and was taught how to search for items in stock on the till. After this, I was taken into the backroom again and asked about my availability where I found out I was being offered a position.
