The interview process was conducted virtually. There are two parts and I only got to the first part. They ask a list of questions in a timed video and you have anywhere from 60 seconds to 90 seconds to answer it. You do not get any re-do and it can feel a little uncomfortable.

Interview
There is a three part interview process, the initial application, a recorded video interview, and panel. The initial application requires some short essay answers in addition to the typical application questions. After a few weeks, you'll hear back whether or not you advance to the next stage.
In this stage you are given a prompt to prepare (mine was "speak on something you know well for 2 minutes). When it's time for the video, you have a set amount of time to answer each prompt. I was given about 30 seconds after receiving the question to prepare, and then the video starts, there are no re-dos. I had about 3 video responses and 3 written prompts in addition to the one I was told ahead of time. About two weeks after that I was told I advanced to Panel.
I applied during Covid, so my experience was slightly different than others, but the bulk of it is the same. There was an interview with a panel of NBC employees as well as about 10 other potential candidates. We were asked the same few questions in secession and each had about 90 seconds to answer. After that we were split up into breakout rooms and given a task to do while one of the current employees watched our group interaction. After that, there was a super quick one-on-one interview that lasted around 10 minutes.
