I'll be completely honest. Least favorite part is how many hoops they force you to jump through, and then they have the audacity to say they cannot provide feedback to rejected candidates. Many candidates pour their hearts and souls into this job for being the few paid positions in this industry. Please help us out here. Application process was pretty simple: Apply online with resume, cover letter, 2 short essays, and 1 longer essay about which NBCU principle best embodies me. Followed by a recorded video interview (very dehumanizing, but was doable). 5 questions, I believe, with 1 redo. 30 seconds to prepare and 1 minute 30 seconds to answer. Then it's the infamous NBC panel interview, which is one day of a group interview with 2 questions, followed by a small group activity, and then a 1-on-1 with the recruiter. The panel is the final step.
