Interview
The process was pretty standard. After applying I had a phone interview with a recruiter. After that, there was a zoom interview with the executives and directors for whom the position would report to.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
The HR who called me for phone screen is a racist, and showed no basic respect to candidates. She first reached to me for my application and gave me a time she chose for a phone call. She didn't call me at the set time so I emailed her in polite manner after she is 5 minutes late to remind her the phone call. She called me and did not apologize at all and said "yeah I saw your email." in the tune that she blamed me for pointing out she was late. Then I explained the research I did and the insights of my understanding of NBC. She asked about my visa status, I explained to her STEM OPT, she interrupted me and yelled: "I know! I know all that! You just tell me what visa you have." Oh boy, if you truly know stem opt you should know what visa it is. Then she asked me if I have any question, I asked a clarification questions about how technical operation team fit into the NBC realm. She repeat again and again this is for the operation technical team and pressed me to read job descriptions and called me "silly" to ask questions like this. I then asked what is the next step and how many rounds of interviews do I expect, and whether I met with the head of the department at the last round. I also asked if a hiring manager will decide if I would be moving forward. She said the last round of interview is with her and this is the first round of interview, she said she has the sole discretion to decide whether I move forward or not. For the entire phone call, she talked as if I was all the problems of her life.

Question 1
What's your day-to-day look like at Deloitte? (Seriously, this is the first time an HR ask me question like this, normally people ask me what are my responsibilities and what kind of projects I worked on.)
