Honestly a frustrating interview process. They were looking for at least 3 years of experience. Got several rounds in and they told me they wanted someone with more experience even though I have over 5 in the field. The salary was $95k-100k, which is pretty low considering how large of a company Comcast/NBC is as well as the skills they were requiring. The only plus I saw was that it was fully remote.
Interview process was:
- Initial recruiter screen
- video interview with the director of mobile engineering
- panel interview with senior engineers
- onsite
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
Typical questions you would expect, not too behavioral in nature. Go in prepared but don't stress. The process is not too overwhelming. Research the latest of what NBC is doing and be prepared to come with questions.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
To begin with there was an initial video interview round that wasn't virtual with a person but instead to set questions on screen that you had to reply to on camera, this was then followed by in person interviews at a later date.
