I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Apr 2011
Interview
Received a phone call to have a phone interview. Asked to come in for an in-person interview where I met with two recruiters. Came back a third time to meet with another recruiter. Had a phone interview with the VP and an HR person. Had to take a drug test, but they don't drug test anymore.

Question 1
They were all pretty standard. Try to have a good reason why you want to work at NBC other than liking their TV shows.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2013
Interview
Initial interview was with a recruiter with whom I was given a brief tour of the facility and had discussion about possible positions. I then had another similar face to face with an area recruiter which covered much of the same material. I eventually had an interview with a hiring manager, roughly 20-minutes. Questions were basic about the job, a bit more pointed about personal interactions.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Jul 2013
Interview
Contacted by a Recruiter to do a recorded interview online (2 written questions, 3 recorded via webcam), and was given 3 days to do so. After I completed it, there was no word whatsoever for 2 weeks. I emailed and called once to ask my status -- nothing. I had to search and find out on my own that I was rejected via the website.

Question 1
Right off the bat I was forced into revealing salary. It seemed like there was no option to decline it as it was a written question.
