I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Universal City, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Lazy recruiters using online video interview. Not Skype. A few questions on the screen and one minute to answer. No interaction with another human. Most people do horrible in front of a camera like this If you toss these people in the trash because of this you miss out on your best candidates.
After that you will get a call from the recruiter. Next is phone interview with HR manager. In person interview with HR. Finally in person interview with hiring manager.
Didn't feel like I meshed with the hiring manager. Turned down the offer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Dallas, TX) in Jun 2015
Interview
I sent my resume in, then I was contacted through email a couple of times. I was then scheduled to come in for an interview which ended up going very well! I was hired on the spot. Right after the interview I was taken on a tour of the entire building. I met current employees while on my tour and they made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Interview questions were pretty basic. Oh, and first impressions mean everything in this profession.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Dec 2012
Interview
Phone interview with HR to screen me, then three interviews in one day to decide on final candidate, and then a phone call from HR to discuss compensation. Interviews were back to back, which is much easier to deal with. I did have to travel to another building, but it was the last stage so I didn't fuss about it.
