I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Feb 2015
Interview
There were three sets of interviews that took place over several months. The first was on the phone, the second on the computer and the third in person. You have to prepare a project for the in person interview. The interviewers were exceptionally harsh and didn't really want to accept a lot of my answers. It was one of the hardest and most bizarre interviews I have ever had.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Jun 2013
Interview
Fast, straight to the point, normal HR questions. The interview was average. I had to dress to impress and provide a good first impression as it is one of their side requirements to appear decent.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
Applied through my University's career link. He called a month after I applied, asked to bring references, a pen and resume. Interview was straight forward. Interviewer gave us a job description that took about 30 minutes, a brief tour, and then we took a forty five minute Current events test.
