I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Apr 2016
Interview
It was 4-phase interview. First two interviews were over the phone. Very basic experience-based questions, with one algorithm question in the second interview. The third phase involved programming a basic webcrawler in python. Then the last step was a Skype interview with three employees. I was told I would hear back in a week after the last interview, but I never heard from them again. I thought it was pretty rude to have a candidate go through four different interviews and not even send a rejection email.

Question 1
Q: • How would you iteratively go over a list from 1 - 1,000,000 and find a duplicate when there’s one?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied to many different positions, which I was later told was NOT in my best interest. However, after reaching out to individuals I knew in the company, I got in contact with a recruiter and he administered a very basic phone interview. A few weeks later I was notified that I did not get the job.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Jul 2016
Interview
The hardest part of the process is getting someone to reach out to you after you submit your application. It could be months before you (may) hear from a recruiter. After my submission, I i was reached out to do a pre-recorded video response. The next day, i was called for a phone interview with two recruiters who asked questions and gave me a full idea of what the position was. From there, i spoke with a hiring manager and then a week later, i was asked to send in my resume again. Didn't hear anything again for a week, and was then told that i did not get the job.
