I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
Before the interviews began there was a long and in-depth online application that asked for a resume and cover letter. After this there were 3 stages of interviews; Phone, then Skype, then after passing those two there was one face to face Interview in front of a group of managers. All very formal and increasing in information.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Universal City, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied online in October 2017 and was contacted by a recruiter for an on-phone screening. After a brief phone call, I was asked to come in onsite for an interview with management. I did not hear anything until about 3 weeks later when the recruiter asked me to come in for a final interview. I spoke with additional managers and the hiring manager again. After the final interview, I did not hear anything from the recruiter. I followed up twice with the recruiter and also the hiring manager, but I was not given any sort of response. The whole process took about 3 months. I eventually saw the job requisition reposted on the careers site and saw an update on my application status through the portal. I found it really unprofessional and would have appreciated some update on the process instead of being left in the dark the whole time.
