Took a total of 5 weeks, HR was helpful throughout process. It was prolonged through holiday time. Team Members I interviewed with were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable of subject matter.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Studio City, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
The entire process took approximately three months starting from the day I was contacted by the recruiter up until I received an offer. The first interview was with the department director who I believe was very professional and presented himself as a great leader. The second interview took place a month later with another director. Great interview overall. The third and final interview was with a very friendly and down to earth HR manager.
This would've been the first time for being part of a union and no idea of how involved they are during the hiring process.
A few weeks pass and I receive an email from a coordinator stating I start the next day. Salary was ever mentioned.
I was really disappointed with the offer and it was not negotiable. Set by the union.
What a waste. I learned a very valuable lesson. Always ask what the pay range is!

Interview
The interview process is a bit confusing. You first apply online, I applied to 20 different internships and got 2 offers. Then you get contacted for a video interview which is a bit stressful because it is timed. After this, the recruiters held an informational where they went over the layout of the internship and it is highly encouraged you ask questions. Then about a month past by and I got a call from my now intern supervisor. She interviewed me and asked be more specific questions about the job.
