I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at NBCUniversal
Interview
The final round had two interviewers—one gauging company fit and the other assessing technical knowledge. The company-fit portion focused on behavioral and situational questions to evaluate how well I align with Comcast’s culture, collaboration style, and long-term goals. I was asked about my leadership experiences, communication style, and how I define inclusion.
The technical portion focused on my proficiency with Excel, experience with financial data, and understanding of corporate finance concepts. I walked through how I’ve used pivot tables to analyze costs and improve operations, shared a finance project I completed using DCF modeling and WACC, and explained the difference between corporate and general finance.
They also asked questions to assess my industry awareness—such as a recent event involving Comcast and familiarity with its subsidiaries and competitors. Overall, the interview was conversational and well-balanced between technical and interpersonal evaluation. It reinforced my excitement about the ERP Finance Internship and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow.
