I interviewed at Motorola Solutions (Edimburgo, Escocia)
Interview
Applied on company’s website through LinkedIn. I was contacted for a screening phone call approximately 2 weeks later.
The interview never happened. The company’s recruiter that contacted me never phoned me. She emailed me 10min after the agreed time telling me she couldn’t get through and asking to rearrange.
No bother, I reply promptly to the email confirming my phone number just jn case, and offering alternative times.
Never heard back. Really, really unprofessional.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Motorola Solutions (Phoenix, AZ) in Mar 2018
Interview
Made me Very comfortable. Interviewed by a team of very experienced engineers that were courteous. Was in three parts, hiring manager, VP, and engr team. Entire interview lasted 8 hours
The interview is good. It is not that hard, just asking basic questions of programming and ask you to demonstrate it on the spot. First half of the session is to explain and describe yourself and the other half is live coding.
